Here comes the new Taurus 2 × 2 All-Terrain Motorcycle from the Russian company Motovezedhody that is all about versatility and a go-anywhere capability that can only be matched by four-wheel drive cars.

Be it snow covered terrain, mountainous tracks or slush, the Taurus can plough though all with aplomb. And making it all possible is the massive tires that the bike comes with. At 12-inch wide and 25-inch high, those clearly are among the biggest rubbers to have ever been fitted to a bike.

However, perhaps what can be considered the other most interesting quality of the motorcycle is that it can be taken apart and then assembled again in just minutes. What's more, the individual parts which come across as DIY kits can be easily fitted into the back of even a hatchback car. At 132 pounds, the Taurus is also surprisingly light for a motorcycle with such imposing looks.

Power comes from a Honda GX210 engine that is rated at seven bhp of peak power and a top speed of 35 kmph, RushLane reported. A 3 speed transmission brings those huge tires to life while the brake discs on intermediate shafts provides with the stopping power.

The motorcycle also comes with a 3 gallon tank which its makers estimate is enough to provide for about 10 hours of riding. The Taurus though lacks a suspension setup, which is also why the company cautioned the tyre pressure cannot exceed 3 psi, Daily Mail stated.

All of the above makes the Taurus perfectly suited for adventurists or special missions such as search & rescue operations and so on.

Motovezedhody stated the motorcycle will be available in two trims, 2×2 Taurus 2 and the 2×2 Taurus 2m. While the former is a lightweight adaption, the Taurus 2m is the heavier and more powerful of the two.

The Taurus is already on sale in Russia and is expected to reach other international markets by the end of the year.
