BMW's New M2 400HP CS Gets Unveiled, Is Practically An M3

Spoilers have been revealed on what the fans of the BMW M2 model can look forward to with its new version. With better speed, transmission, suspension, and a beefier engine, the said make and model was reported to borrow parts from the prevailing BMW M3 and M4 models.

The BMW M2 had been one of the most popular models of the brand since it was released not later than two years ago. Despite the recent release, the car company was said to be cooking up some updates for the make and model.

As reported by Jalopnik, the brand new BMW M2 model would cater to a sportier version wherein the vehicle itself could generate 400 horsepower - a feature that would lodge the car as the best compact sports car to ever enter the automobile market.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that the latest BMW M2 model may borrow some parts available in the prevailing BMW M3 and BMW M4 models such as their 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder power plant and a few suspension parts. The said updates were deemed to make the model more similar to the M3 but will leave room for its brothers to keep up for their respective updates as well.

In other news, BMW Blog revealed that not only will the engine and suspension features be the ones updated but along with the BMW M2 aerodynamics. It was forecasted to possibly look like that of the 2002 Hommage concept and other new technological components.

The said updates composed of lightweight measures that could be from a one-piece carbon fiber propeller shaft to the carbon roof of the vehicle.

The brand new BMW M2 could also possibly be labeled as a CS/CSL model which is a tremendous upgrade from its standard version. The said model was lodged to possibly be a 2018 version.
