America's Got Talent' Finale Recap: Winners, Rankings And Highlights!

Over 14.4 million viewers tuned into NBC's "America's Got Talent" Season Finale which was 33 percent increased in the demo finale compared to the previous year. The show also obtained an impressive 49 percent in audience presence, even if Donald Trump's second GOP debate was broadcast at the same night, as reported by Deadline.

With every figure clocked in, this is considered to be the best finale number of the show recorded in five years. The season-ender episode of "America's Got Talent" reigned U.S. primetime TV (8-10 PM ET), as well pulling in a massive crowd for its live performance.

"America's Got Talent" Winner Revealed!

If you're an avid viewer of the show, then you might have predicted the season winner as Grace VanderWaal. The 12-year-old singer captured millions of views online and voters with her impressive vocals and catchy song compositions. With her innately pure talent, she won the $1 Million cash prize.

The adorable singer performed "I Don't Know My Name" which was the same song she did during auditions but with much more grace and confidence this time.

Highlights of the Season Finale

According to the Mirror, Simon Cowell walked the carpet with his new partner, a puppet of himself, to promote the finale of America's Got Talent. The music tycoon posed with his hanging counterpart for photos.

Meanwhile, the top five acts to slide in the finale were Sal Valentinetti, Brian Justin Crum, Jon Dorenbos, The Clairvoyants, and Grace VanderWaal; coming in from fifth to the grand winner, respectively.

Hollywood Life reported that it was the closest votation Nick Cannon ever announced with less than 1 percent of votes divided among the Top 3 finalists. The show was so nerve-wracking and heart-wrenching being the numbers these tight.

Every single act performed their hearts out during their last America's Got Talent performance. Even though they didn't qualify for the top five acts, they were considered winners in their own right.
