Director James Gunn has revealed he has provided a special Groot script for actor Vin Diesel for the upcoming sequel of the 2014 hit "Guardians of the Galaxy."

Gunn created the script so that it would help the "Fast and Furious" franchise star with the process of being able to give justice to the tree-humanoid character. The director shared on Instagram a photo of the copy of the special script which only he and Diesel have.

"This is the special Groot version of the script that only @vindiesel and I have, where every Groot line is printed in English instead of Groot, so Vin will know what the various 'I am Groot's mean," he wrote. "I love putting this thing together." No doubt Gunn's decision to pen the said script came after non-stop queries from fans as to how the muscular actor's big voice will fit into such a small character. This was proven when he posted a screenshot of a tweet from a fan asking, "How is Vin Diesel going to voice the kid Groot in the sequel? Wouldn't his heavy voice sound odd on it?"

The director saw the tweet and made a quick reply that read, "You don't think the guy that plays Homer Simpson talks like that all the time, do you? Vin is an actor capable of doing all sorts of voices. He took a screenshot of both posts and captioned it with, "Simply because I'm getting asked this question more than any other. #BabyGroot #GotGVol2"

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is scheduled to be released in US theaters on May 5 next year. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan and Michael Rooker reprise their roles as Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, the voice of Rocket, Nebula and Yondu respectively, according to Ace Showbiz.
