George Lopez Range Rover: Comedian Shows Off New ‘Murdered’ Vehicle

George Lopez recently unveiled his very own "murdered" Range Rover, the latest addition to his ever-growing collection of vehicles.

A black on black Range Rover is not exactly a vehicle that is completely one of a kind, given that there are other celebrities out there who have Rovers of their own. However, there's no denying that the Rover still has that look that will remain cool for all eternity.

The comedian and talk show hosts' choice of vehicle could come off as a surprise to many, especially those who bore witness to the one time he gave Los Angeles Lakers' small forward Metta World Peace an "unusual" present.

Back when the professional basketball player was still known as Ron Artest in 2011, he was a guest on Lopez old talk show "Lopez Tonight." During a sit-down interview, Lopez volunteered to give Artest a Rolls Royce Phantom.

However, Artest said that a Hyundai was all he needed. Fortunately for him, Lopez kept his word and went on his way to give him the car that he asked for - Platinum Motorsport customized "Laker" Hyundai Genesis - a few months after his guest stint.

Besides showing off his new Range Rover, Lopez is currently busy touring across the country for the "Comedy Get Down Tour." The tour has been a consistent hit for the past two years and it is headlined by Lopez and other comedians namely Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley, Charlie Murphy, and Eddie Griffin.

The tour was originally just one show aimed at raising funds in order to create a statue of Richard Pryor in Lopez's hometown of Peoria, III. But the show was so well received by audiences and critics that the comedians decided to take the show on the road. Additionally, the tour was also picked up for a TV series.

Lopez currently stars in his own TV series "Lopez," a semi-autobiographical sitcom about a fictionalized version of himself. The show was recently picked up for a second season by TV Land.
