Hollywood actors Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are one of the few celebrity lovebirds who found destiny in a bizarre way.The pair revealed in an interview that there was an instant spark at the time they have met each other's eyes.
The real life sweethearts will play as a married couple in the upcoming film, "The Light Between Oceans." The duo told Entertainment Tonight how they realized that they have instant chemistry.
Vikander revealed that he met Fassbender on the dance floor during the Toronto Film Festival after party. Then, the actor chimed into the conversation, saying that he was smitten by her dance moves.
"I thought [I was a good dancer] until she started dancing and then I felt like I had two left feet," After that fateful night, the 39-year old matinee idol met her again during the film rehearsals in 2014. Thus, their blossoming love story began.
The media outlet also noted that the couple is finishing each other sentences, indicating how they are comfortable with one another. Sweet, isn't it?
As for "The Light Between Oceans," Michael Fassbender portrays the fictional character, Australian Tom Sherbourne. The soldier returned to his wife, Isabel after fighting in the western part of Europe during World War I.
Then, the couple moved into a secluded lighthouse in Western Australia. They rescued and adopted a baby girl who washes up in a lifeboat.
This Australian war film has a tagline "Love Demands Everything" which might captivate the hearts of the moviegoers. Aside from Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, the drama flick also stars Rachel Weisz, Bryan Brown, Caren Pistorius, and Jack Thompson, among others, as per IMDb.
The production film traveled to Otago New Zealand and Tasmania to shoot some scenes, to make it more relatable to the story. The upcoming movie will be out in cinemas on December 26, 2016.
Michael Fassbender and his girlfriend have not announced when they are going to tie the knot, but fans should wait for them to reveal it in the future.
