At the young age of 26, Taylor Swift has already amassed millions of dollars as she is named as the world's highest-paid celebrity by Forbes Magazine.

She is now earning a skyrocketing $223 million last year.

The pop icon's earnings from June 2015 to June 2016 are seen as the highest figures of her entire career. This doubles her previous record last year that amounts to $105 million.

Adele, Madonna, Rihanna, and Bruce Springsteen, are among the other icons in the music industry that she has  out-earned. They earn $105 million, $100 million, $98 million, and $79 million, respectively.

Katy Perry, Swift's well known rival is also out-earned as the latter only earned $177 million last year, based on Forbes Magazine's yearly edition of the 100 Highest Paid Celebrities.

Perry plunged to the 63rd rank this year, as earnings only reached $54 million.

Taylor Swift grossed $263 million from her 1989 World Tour, beating the Rolling Stones North American top record of $263 million.

One Direction is the second in this year's list as it grosses $144 million. The third spot belongs to the author, James Patterson, earning $125 million. Calvin Harris reached the 21st spot grossing $82 million.

Even Dwayne Johnson earned a whopping $85 million, reaching figures close to what the Iron Man Robert Downey Jr., has reached. This is because of the success of the Fast and Furious franchise and San Andreas.

This shows that anything can happen in this infamous list of Forbes' richest celebrities. There is no limit to how much these personalities can reach. Statistics say that the slightest downturn of events may cost millions of dollars to either further enrich these multi-millionaires, or plunge them to the pits of bankruptcy and wasted opportunity. Only their work ethics, behavior, and the trend of society dictates to what the outcome will be.
