Lamborghini is set to conquer roads once again with its latest addition and positively speaks out on the new model's high-tech features. The Italian supercar maker says it is banking on more customers taking an interest to its raging bull trademark.

General Manager For Lamborghini APAC Andrea Baldi said in an interview that he hopes the next-gen Huracan version could amp up on demand for the luxury car brand, and to those customers who have yet to experience the Lamborghini touch, according to CarAdvice AU.

Baldi said that the LP580-2 would spark the interests of a newer crowd to the Lamborghini brand. He says that these customers would already have experienced owning or behind the wheel of a rear-wheel drive sports car. With the additional 4-wheel on the new Huracan, it would present another kind of challenge, continued Baldi.

The company also revealed that the LP580-2 units aren't going to be sold as a limited edition, compared to the Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni make. The Balboni edition was limited to only 250 units, distributed worldwide. Lamborghini said that should sales projections for the Huracan prove high otherwise, the company would be able to make more.

Global sales for Lamborghini units were as high as 3,245 cars sold in 2015, and that the Asia-Pacific region made up most of its buyers. Following the APAC region, EMEA and Americas sales contributed to total sales, according to the news agency.

In a related MotorReport AU post, the Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2's muscle power packs up to 426kW on the road and speed up 100km/h in about 3.4 seconds' time. The rear-wheel drive functionality of the Huracan also gives drivers a lighter feel at the front, but with firm roll bars. The Lamborghini Huracan also has a 3-mode wheel switch, where customers can choose between these modes: Strada, Sport, and Corsa. Pretty far fetch, right?
