The Ford police interceptor now becomes even better with the introduction of the new "No Profile" version of the Ford Explorer. With the latest version of the Explorer-based Interceptor Utility for police with super-low-profile visor light mounted inside, it will now be difficult for criminals to identify police vehicles.
Ford has just introduced the new car version in a press release posted on its official website. As described by the car company, the light bars emitting red and blue colors are positioned at the top of the windshield. The "no profile" version of the Ford Police Interceptor is the first of its kind giving policemen a sneaky image.
Ford police marketing manager for the North America region Stephen Tyler is proud to reveal their latest creation which is different from what other companies are offering. Their interior visor light bars are not bulky compared to the others.
"Today, agencies typically use aftermarket interior visor light bars that are somewhat bulky and can obstruct the field of vision - especially for taller officers," Tyler stated. "This extremely low-profile unit is fully integrated where the headliner and top of the windshield meet, for tremendously improved driver visibility versus aftermarket alternatives."
Ford also claims that its version of light bars are smaller and integrated in a more stylistic way changing the traditional appearance of patrol cars. Besides the advantage on design, there is no longer dark shade above the window which enhances the visibility when the light bars are turned on.

Ford Explorer is one of the best-selling vehicle models in the United States, Fox News reported. With the latest utility made for the car, the sales of the Ford Police Interceptor will surely rise for the purpose of lowering the crime rate.
