Mysterious car company Faraday Future is set to reveal more about what it has in store for the auto industry at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show, and a new teaser video gives a glimpse at what its concept car may look like.

The video, posted on the electric automaker's Twitter account, provides viewers a brief look at the logo, what may be carbon fiber, some headlights and a wheel, as well as some dramatic music, according to Engadget. The company is promoting the vehicle as one that will "redefine our relationship with the automobile." Check out the teaser below.

Faraday said on its website that it plans on launching "fully-electric vehicles that will offer smart and seamless connectivity to the outside world," ABC News reported.

"Beyond traditional electric vehicles, we are also developing other aspects of the automotive and technology industries, including unique ownership models, in-vehicle content and autonomous driving," the company added.

Faraday's concept car is already being called a "Tesla Killer," BGR noted.

However, Patrick Moorhead, an analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy, said that it is more likely that Faraday will debut something more like the Google car than a vehicle that could take on Tesla.

"I think it's primarily to impress people and get people to talk about Faraday like we are right now," Moorhead told ABC News, adding that it will most likely be a while before whatever the company reveals at CES 2016 will be available to consumers.

"What you get down the line is never exactly what you see," he said. "I think they're trying to make a big and positive impression showing what they think is possible."

The teaser follows a month after the startup said that it would unveil the vehicle at CES 2016 and three weeks after it picked Las Vegas as the home for its $1 million electric car factory. The company is receiving support from Chinese celebrity billionaire Jia Yueting, and other potential spots for the plant included Georgia, Louisiana and California.

Faraday also intends to reveal more information on its manufacturing plans in the upcoming days and weeks, as well as bring a production car to drivers by 2020, according to BGR.

The unveiling is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 4, the first day of CES 2016, so car fans only have to wait a few more days before they get to see what Faraday has to offer.
