(VIDEO SNEAK PREVIEW) The 2016 Acura NSX Will Premiere at the Detroit Auto Show

Be still, enthusiasts' hearts: The 2016 Acura NSX is ready. (We think.)

Acura has just released a teaser video featuring what the company says is the real, next-generation luxury sports coupe, which will show its face for the first time next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

By all accounts, it looks stellar and sounds amazing. The sound of the twin-turbocharged V-6, mated with a sophisticated hybrid setup, is intoxicating to diehards' ears, emitting a satisfying wind-up and whine. The next NSX is expected to come with Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive, as well.

The look mimics the cues shown on a bevy of show cars that have appeared at auto shows over the last three years. The production NSX comes almost three years after a concept car bearing the NSX moniker was first shown, and not a moment too soon. Sharing the spotlight in Detroit will be parent company Honda's FCV Concept, which debuted earlier this year in Japan.

Have a look at, and turn up your speakers to hear, the NSX that will soon debut.
