2019 Car Models To Drool For; Porsche, Mercedes-Benz & Volkswagen To Reign Before The Decade Ends?

The year 2019 will host an impressive fleet of all-new electric car models. Topping the list of the 2019 car models to drool for are the Porsche Mission E, Volkswagen I.D., Mercedes EQC and EQA.

In 2019, automakers are reportedly preparing an all-new lineup of electric vehicles. The end of the decade seems to jumpstart the futuristic era that will showcase the latest technology advancements in electric-mobility. However, the SUV range is not ready to quit yet as there will also be new models to come out in 2019.

MERCEDES EQA. This new model has the size of an A-Class electric hatch and was first introduced at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. This new rival of Volkswagen E-Golf will come as a two-wheel drive. It will hit the showrooms in 2019 with a (40,000) price tag.

Reports also mention that the new "EQ" models of Mercedes-Benz will bring another milestone in the history of the brand. Apparently, the upcoming EQ models will be sold online via virtual dealerships, which will trigger the start of online sales.

MERCEDES EQC. This new electric model will be the pioneer in the electric SUV lineup of Mercedes-Benz. The new model will utilize a bespoke EV platform that the automaker is developing, instead of the current technology. With the new platform, Mercedes can offer the model in front, rear or four-wheel drive. This model comes with a more expensive price tag of (50,000).

PORSCHE MISSION E. This model is expected to take down Tesla with its 600bhp from the two-motor drive. It also promises a range of 310 miles. The new model will utilize the Porsche's Le Mans 24 hours-winning sportscar technology. Base price starts at $ (100,000).

PORSCHE 911. The sports car will reportedly be offered as a hybrid in 2019. Spy photos reveal the design of the model will not differ from the existing 911. Estimated starting price is (78,000).

VOLKSWAGEN I.D. Following the brand's E-Golf, the new Volkswagen I.D. hatchback represents the brand's future electric range. It will utilize an all-new EV platform that is versatile enough to have one or two electric motors. The new electric vehicle boasts a range of 375 miles. It is expected to be released with a (23,000) price tag.

LAND ROVER DEFENDER. The new version of Defender is reportedly coming out with greater off-road ability than the previous model. It is also expected to come with a design utilizing more aluminum materials. It comes with a (35,000) price tag.

MERCEDES-BENZ GLB. The automaker is also expected to launch the huge Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV. Among the significant design features are the muscular form, straight edges and the animated lines. According to AutoExpress, the new SUV will share the transmissions, engines and electronics of the upcoming GLA crossover.
